C'EST UN CEST is a project born from the friendshipand collaboration between Margherita and Sophie, neighbors in Porta Venezia. A simple bond, sparked by their dogs Wanda and Gipsy, that grew around a shared passion: weaving.

The project brings together two complementary paths. Margherita works in the textile world, particularly in the carpet sector, with research focused on essential, tactile patterns and artisanal manufacturing techniques. Sophie, trained in Fine Arts and experienced in jewelry and small-scale sculpture design, is passionate about wickerwork and she also loves taking care of her chickens, elements that enrich her lively and playful creative imagination. From this fusion, C'EST UN CEST takes shape: a project where design and craftsmanship meet in a creative language that is essential and ironic. Weaving becomes a shared vocabulary, giving life to contemporary creations in which design, craftsmanship, and irony coexist in balance.
